Procedure for applying online

(1) Candidates must go to official IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on the appropriate option

“CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- RRBs- OFFICE ASSISTANT

(2)Candidates must click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering
their basic information in the online application form.

(3)An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password is sent to the candidate.

(4)Candidates must upload their
– Photograph
– Signature
– Left thumb impression
– A hand written declaration
as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of documents (Annexure III).

(5)Candidates must carefully fill in the online application

(6)After Final Submit, an additional page of the application form is displayed wherein candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details.

(7)The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.

 

Conditions to apply

  • A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer.
  • However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
  • Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees / intimation charges separately for each post.
  • Candidates can apply online only.

Selection Process

Cut-off Marks

Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Each candidate must obtain minimum score in each test of online main exam. Only main exam marks taken into consideration for final merit listing.

Post of Officers Scale-I

Each candidate must obtain minimum score in each test of online main exam. Only main exam marks taken into consideration for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing.

Post of Officers Scale-II (Generalist and Specialist) & Scale III

Each candidate must obtain minimum score in each test of online single exam. Only single level exam marks taken into consideration for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing.

 

Interview – applicable only for post of Officers (Scale I, II and III)

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I and in the single level examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III under CRP- RRB- IX will subsequently be called for an Interview to be co-ordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

 

PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT

On completion of the interview process / main examination, depending on the vacancies to be filled in as per the business needs of the RRBs and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by Govt. of India/Others from time to time, administrative exigency, etc. No change in the data already registered by the candidate in the online application form ispossible.
For Officers in Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment is restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for.

 

Social Distancing Mode conduct of Exam Related Instructions

Different reporting time will be printed for a set of candidates. Candidate must report much before the Reporting
time to avoid crowding.
1. Candidate must report at the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card AND/OR informed via SMS/Mail on their registered mobile number/mail prior to exam date. Candidate msut strictly adhere to this time slot – as entry into the exam venue will be provided based upon the individual’s time slot ONLY. Candidates should report atleast 15 minutes before the Reporting time indicated on the call Letter.
2. Mapping of ‘Candidate Roll Number and the Lab Number’ will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be intimated to the candidates individually at the time of entry of the candidate to the exam venue and post their Admit Card/ Call Letter and ID verification.

3. Permission to candidates to carry only certain items with them into the venue.

a. Mask (WEARING A MASK is COMPULSORY)
b. Gloves
c. Personal transparent water bottle
d. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
e. A simple pen
f. Exam related documents (Call Letter/Admit Card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc)
g. Candidate must bring Call Letter/Admit Card with the Photocopy of the Photo ID stapled with it. He/ She must bring Original ID (same as Photocopy) for verification. The name on the ID and on the Call Letter/Admit Card should be exactly the same.
h. In case of Scribe Candidates – Scribe form duly filled and signed with Photograph affixed. Candidates cannot bring any other iItems inside the venue.

4. Candidate should not share any of their personal belonging/material with anyone
5. Candidate should maintain safe social distance with one another.
6. Candidate should stand in the row as per the instructions provided at venue.
7. If candidate is availing the scribe, then scribe also should bring their own Gloves, N95 Mask, sanitizer (50ml) and water bottle. Wearing a mask is compulsory. Both candidate and Scribe will require to be wearing N95 Mask.
8. A Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on his mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu status must show candidate’s risk factor. A candidate will have to display this status to the Security Guard at the entry into the exam
venue. In case a candidate does not have a smart phone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration to this effect (declaration form provided in Annexure- IV) and show the same to the Security Guard at the entry into the exam venue. No entry for candidates with Moderate or High Risk Status on Aarogya Setu. In case any of the responses in declaration suggest COVID 19 infection/symptoms, there is no permission for the candidate to enter inside the exam venue.
9. After Aarogya Setu status display at the entry gate, candidates must switch off their mobile phones, and deposit it at the designated location, to be collected while exiting
10. Checking of all candidates is done with Thermo guns at the entry point for temperature. In case, any person is observed to be having above normal temperature (> 99.14° F) or displaying any symptoms of the virus, they will not be allowed entry into the venue
11. Candidate registration:
a. Candidate registration is done through photo capture.
b. Photograph is taken while candidate is standing.
c. Seat number is given to the candidate.

12. Rough sheet, call letter and ID proof management

  • Candidate to use Rough sheet(s) kept at each candidate desk. No additional sheets will be provided during the exam.
  • Candidate must follow the instructions related to dropping the call letter with the ID proof copy in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving or at the designated place. Those candidates who avail the services of Scribe should submit Scribe form also along with the Call Letter and ID proof copy
  • Candidate must drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit of lab/venue while leaving. The drop box for the rough sheets will be different from that of Call Letter box. Venue to display specific instructions.

13. Post Examination Controls

On completion of a shift, the candidates should move out in an orderly manner without crowding as instructed by the venue staff.
(IBPS may add or modify some more instructions related to exam depending on the situation during the scheduled date of exam)
